- Kodable – continue to work on your coding and creativity skills while creating your Fuzz Buzz. Your goal is to complete enough levels to change the appearance of your Fuzz Buzz! Class codes are listed below
- Google Canvas – use this app on your Chromebook to be creative and express yourself. Draw a picture of a story that you read, something you have done that you would like to share with me, a picture of something you miss about school or anything you feel like making. Take a screenshot of your picture and share it with me! I can’t wait to see how creative you all have been! *NEW 3/30*
- Genius Hour – learn a new skill, a new language, a new recipe, or a new instrument. Google it:) Capture your work in a Google Slideshow or Doc and post it in your LRC class Google Classroom page or email it to me. I can’t wait to see what you learned *NEW 4/7*
- MakerSpace – coloring eggs this week? Make a how-to Google Slideshow showing the process and share it with me. Have Legos at home? Try this! Or take a picture of your decorative eggs and post them in the LRC Google Classroom account *NEW 4/7*
- Family STEM Activities – here is a list of 77 family STEM activities that you can complete while we are away. Please either email me some of the activities you have worked on or put them on Google Classroom. I can’t wait to hear about them! *NEW 4/7*
- Play-Doh Challenges – here are some how-to videos from Play-Doh that could help you create new things. Watch them by yourself or with a family member and create something new! Send a picture to Miss Pollert through an email or on your Google Classroom account describing what you made! – NEW 4/20!
Digital Citizenship
- Digital Passport – Password Protect Game: we played this game at the beginning of the year. It is a good refresher on making sure to be safe on the Internet and create strong passwords
- Share Jumper – we also played this game at the beginning of the year. It is another good reminder on how to be safe on the Internet. Share with me your high score!
- Interland
Informational Literacy
- World Book Online – use our district’s World Book Online account to research an animal of your choice. Watch any included videos, read articles, and analyze illustrations and graphics to find out more about this animal. Create a Google Slideshow about your animal with at least 5 slides. We will share them and print them out when we return to school to be displayed in our library as additional material to look at during library days
- Rags to Riches and Books and More: True or False – play one of these informational literacy games to refresh your knowledge from earlier in the year. See if you can beat your high score. Feel free to share your scores with me on your grade’s Google Classroom page
- Destiny Discover – log into your Destiny Discover account and look at all of the new books that have been added to the Clearmont library. Write down at least 2 books (either nonfiction or fiction) that you are interested in checking out when we get back to school.
- *Remember the username is your email and the password is your school ID number*
- Read a story. Using SeeSaw to design a book cover and record yourself giving it a recommendation or not. Post it in your LRC class. I can’t wait to see your selfie.
- Become an illustrator – read or listen to a story. Use Google Canvas or Docs to design a book cover and give the book a rating and a recommendation or not to your classmates. Post it in your LRC Google Classroom page. *NEW 4/7*

- Write a story and share it with Miss Pollert either on Google Docs, email or on paper when we return to school
- Complete a puzzle! If you have a puzzle at home, please send me a picture of it completed! I miss working on puzzles with each of you. Along with your picture, please share with me how many pieces the puzzle was, how long did it take you and who worked on the puzzle with you. Feel free to share the picture on Google Classroom for everyone to see!
- Illustrate a story or draw a picture using Google Canvas or Google Docs or Google Slides or any other type of technology that you are familiar with. Take a screenshot of it and email it to Miss Pollert or post it on our Google Classroom page.
- Clearmont Typing Club – use your Clearmont Typing Club account to work on your typing skills. *Remember the username is your first and last name all lowercase as one word
